The day my life changed for the better. Nissen Fundoplication surgery was a success. Good bye vomiting!
Wife & Mom of 5
For over 5 years I vomited everything I ate or drink. My gastroenterologist told me I could only drink 4oz of water. With infant portions of food. But it still came. So he talked to specialist, Surgeons. Had me take multiple test. Then put me as an emergency case. Which help me get Nissen fundoplication surgery. 3rd day in recovery
On May 26, 2020 My life was changed. Ironically scheduled on my sister's blessed birthday. Before this day I had Severe acid reflux and a Hital Hernia. Everything I ate would come back up. Literally everything, including water. I would suffer from muscle spasms at the bottom of my esophagus. Excruciating pain, hard to breathe and calling out to God, Please help, please take this pain. Most time in tears. My children and my husband had to see me at my lowest in pain. They felt so bad that they wanted to cry. But we all just kept praying one day the right surgeon would be sent to me. Here it is God answered our prayers. The bottom of my esophagus wouldn't close. Making it easy for food and drink to enter up into my collar bone and straight out my mouth. Well no more Vomiting for me, "Yes Lord". Due to the surgery. I ended up with an ILEUS. Which means my colon fell asleep. It stopped functioning, Causing Gas to build up without emptying. My stomach was already blown up with surgical gas put in it. So that made it worse. Required 3 1/2 months recovery. In due time I will begin to heal completely. This is my testimony...
Thank you God💜
